Carbon dioxide concentration in atmosphere in last 400 thousand years, by Robert A. Rohde from publicly available data( globalwarmingart.com) and licenced under Global Warming Art License.Source link
I came across this image interestingly showing the variations in concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere in the last 400 thousand years. I wanted to share this .Looking at the image the significant changes may be attributed to glacial or interglacial cycles in the current ice age.The industrial revolution since 1800 has effected increase of fossil fuels burning which created remarkable increasing in carbon dioxide emissions.Present situation of global warming is due the increased CO2 emission. The work of EPICA has gone back to 650,000 years and the findings are similar.
