Greenpeace in its campaign against the coventional power stations and promoting the idea of going in for renewable energy had recently initiated awareness building activities in India.The photo shows The Le Meridien hotel in New Delhi blacked its entire building with only a few rooms lit up to form the words: CUT CO2. Greenpeace is advocating that India can meet half of its energy needs by 2050 by going in for energy efficiency and renewable energy.1 million petetions initiative for Ban on the Bulb is another initiative.
