“Dirty Snow” found to be significant contributor to global warming

The UC Irvine scientists have observed the impact of Dirty Snow on global warming in a study, funded by NSF and NASA, and found that it contributes about one third or more of the Arctic warming, which was earlier attributed to greenhouse gases.The soot originating from tailpipes, smoke stacks and forest fires after entering into the atmosphere fall [...]
